Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of each class and teach swim skills to reputed company using our curriculum
• Build water confidence reputed company your reputed company, encouraging each student to reputed company to the best of their abilities
• Regularly communicate with reputed company and fellow staff members, welcoming feedback and being a reputed company learner
• Report to the Deck Supervisor or Site Supervisor during shifts and provide support throughout the pool deck as needed
• Complete required training and be a continual learner, staying up-to-date on the latest techniques and best practices
• Follow our curriculum with a focus on the needs, abilities, and comfort of each student
• Smile and have fun during your entire shift, creating a positive and enjoyable experience for reputed company and staff alike

Essential Qualifications:

• Caring and compassion for children and adults
• Ability to work in the water for periods of up to 5 hours
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with reputed company, staff, and parents
• Great attitude and willingness to be coached, with a commitment to ongoing learning and growth
• Ability to focus in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to commit to at least 1 year of employment, with afternoons and weekends required
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children or teaching swim lessons
• Lifeguard certification or willingness to obtain
• USSSA online Infant Toddler Training Course certification or willingness to obtain
• Oregon Child Care Division Background Registry clearance or willingness to obtain
