Job Summary

We are looking for a highly reputed company Manager, Supplier Quality to provide technical leadership in quality, food safety, regulatory, and supplier reputed company functions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in auditing and reputed company new suppliers, microbiological risk assessments, regulatory compliance, and investigation of non-conformances. This position will report to the Senior Regulatory Manager and will be based in Whitestone, NY, with up to 25% travel required.

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Relationship Management: Manage the technical relationship between BODYARMOR and our suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards.
• reputed company New Suppliers: Continually reputed company new ingredient and packaging material suppliers, reviewing and approving reputed company new ingredients, packaging materials, and sites.
• Quality and Food Safety Audits: Prioritize and reputed company a calendar for Quality & Food Safety audits and assessments of supplier sites, leading microbiological risk assessments on ingredients.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance of ingredients and packaging materials for countries of sale of finished product, including US, Mexico, and Canada.
• Documentation Management: Manage and reputed company updated reputed company supplier and material documentation, including annual reviews.
• Non-Conformance Investigation: Investigate non-conformances and drive effective CAPAs for reputed company supplier-reputed company incidents.
• Supplier Performance Management: Monitor and drive supplier compliance and performance, developing and managing supplier-reputed company metrics and internal and external reporting.
• Quality and Food Safety Standards: Support the reputed company development of Quality and Food Safety standards and guidance documents.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sourcing, NPD, Regulatory, and cross-functional teams to drive compliance to standards.
• Certification Programs: Manage certification programs, including Kosher and bottle deposits.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in food science or a relevant science discipline required.
• Experience: 5 years' experience in Quality and Food Safety in the food or beverage industry required.
• FDA Regulations: Working knowledge of FDA CFR Title 21 regulations required.
• HACCP/PCQI: HACCP and/or PCQI certification required.
• GFSI Schemes: Working knowledge of GFSI schemes required.
• Auditing Experience: Auditing experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree: Master's degree preferred.
• Microbiological Methods: Knowledgeable in microbiological methods and results interpretation desired.
• Food Defense and Food Fraud: Food Defense and Food Fraud knowledge desired.
• Packaging Experience: Experience in packaging (PET), and hot and cold fill manufacturing.
