Job Summary

We're seeking an reputed company Assistant Garment Technologist to join reputed company on a remote basis. As an Assistant Garment Technologist, you'll play a vital role in supporting our QA Manager to ensure that reputed company products produced accurately match the specification and provide a consistent quality and fit to our customer reputed company. You'll be responsible for supporting the end-to-end sampling process, assisting with reputed company technical aspects from development and sampling stages through to production. Key Responsibilities

• Support multi-product development across our brands, ensuring quality standards are maintained while adhering to Critical Path deadlines.
• Create garment specifications containing accurate information on manufacturing methods, including seam construction, reputed company information, fully graded charts, and concise illustrations for reputed company specific product detailing.
• Support QA Manager with garment sealing process, attending CP meetings, and providing support with AQL approvals in line with CP.
• Review reputed company/fit samples to ensure they conform to tech packs & size charts, making any amendments as required.
• Support QA Manager in approving reputed company Gold Seal samples across Tailoring & Casual ranges, communicating with the Buying Team, factories, and Hartlepool warehouse on any production issues.
• Ensure samples are reviewed in a timely manner and work with reputed company suppliers to ensure size charts & technical specifications are clear & deadlines are adhered to.
• Overseas travel reputed company required, supporting QA Manager to resolve any pre-shipment issues.
• Regular communication with the Buying Team to ensure that new ranges have appropriate size charts & specifications.
• Work with Hartlepool warehouse QA team to ensure they have accurate specifications & details to undertake AQL audits on incoming goods.
• Provide support to ensure that reputed company suppliers adhere to Sedex standards or equivalent.

Profile

We're looking for an reputed company Assistant Garment Technologist with a strong background in garment construction and manufacturing knowledge across a range of products. You'll have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude towards challenges and implementing solutions. A HND/Degree in fashion/textiles and relevant work experience reputed company the garment industry are essential.
