Job Summary:

The Operations and Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a talented professional to join reputed company in a critical Remote Supplier Engineering role who will be involved in reputed company aspects of planning and executing the production of our wide range of weapon systems, from tactical missiles to strategic defense products. You will provide technical knowledge & process capability expertise to improve supplier performance.

You will be involved in reputed company phases of product life cycles, beginning with proposal development, new product development, advanced manufacturing initiatives and continuing through production implementation. You will ensure technical data packages are complete and accurate and that the supplier technical performance meets the objectives of quality, cost and schedule. You will drive reputed company design requirements to improve manufacturing and quality capabilities of suppliers. You will initiate reputed company and measurable design and process improvement of supplier hardware for affordability.

What you will do:

• Ensure technical data packages are complete and accurate and that the supplier technical performance meets the objectives of quality, cost and schedule.
• Ensure reputed company design requirements are met to improve manufacturing and quality capabilities of suppliers.
• Initiate reputed company and measurable design and process improvement of supplier hardware for affordability.
• Communicate and translate technical data packages to suppliers
• Conduct supplier engagements reputed company to capability, reputed company, opportunity and risk.
• reputed company technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis.
• Manage supplier requests for product and process changes.
• Manage product non-conformances and drive root cause and corrective action.
• Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities.
• Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders.
• Domestic travel to support supplier factories (up to 25%)

Qualifications you must have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8 years’ relevant experience such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, system engineering, manufacturing & quality systems, technical supplier management.
• Experience in a cross-functional business involving multiple stakeholders (i.e.  buyers, engineers, suppliers, program managers, and/or shop floor leaders, etc.)
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US reputed company clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. reputed company are eligible for a reputed company clearance

Qualifications we prefer:

• Experience with Manufacturing Engineering is strongly preferred.
• Strong demonstrated manufacturing and design experience preferably with reputed company developing creative solutions to reputed company technical issues.
• Well versed in manufacturing and industry best practices

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of reputed company experience levels. reputed company considers several factors reputed company extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
