[Remote] Senior Underwriter | Work Comp

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EMPLOYERS is a dynamic, fast-growing provider of workers' compensation insurance and services. The Senior Underwriter is responsible for reputed company new and renewal Workers Compensation Insurance accounts, ensuring compliance with company guidelines while also mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and retain new and renewal workers' compensation business through solid risk analysis, pricing with adherence to state filings, corporate guidelines, and delegated authority
• Ability to compile and document work comp reputed company reputed company and reputed company referrals to management reputed company appropriate including rational and recommendations
• Maintain strong workers' compensation industry expertise, gathering/sharing competitive information along with changes/trends in the local and national work comp markets
• Collaborate with our internal work comp sales team to reputed company and maintain strong agency relationships with shared accountability in meeting territory goals
• Support leadership in coaching and mentoring team members, participate in organizational projects, and other workers' compensation leadership duties as requested
• Work with minimal supervision and meet commitments/deadlines. Act with a customer-first reputed company and a sense of urgency
