Quality Auditor

International Code Council is an organization focused on ensuring compliance with internal and external program requirements. The Quality Auditor is responsible for performing inspections and audits to support the company's mission, requiring up to 80% travel.

Responsibilities

• reputed company regularly scheduled qualifying, surveillance and sampling, both on-site, in-plant or remote as assigned by the department
• Establish excellent relationships with customers to ensure we are respected as a partner

• Continually identify and pursue opportunities for process improvements and promote reputed company improvement reputed company the department
• Promote effective communication throughout the organization. Identify opportunities and recommend actions that will enhance communication among reputed company
• Contribute on an ongoing basis, insights and reputed company for resolving repetitive issues as they arise in the field by establishing and maintaining a consistent line of communication with department managers
• Recommend improved systems, policies, and procedures for the Inspections Department
• Continually monitor client’s implementation of approved quality systems
• Continually evaluate and communicate status of each client’s quality system to ICC-ES or the agency assigning the inspection
• Schedule factory audits and product sampling throughout the year to ensure efficient operation
• Plan reputed company travel to ensure economically travel by planning in advance and communicating challenges to supervisor or coordinator reputed company needed
• Ensure average number of unique audits or sampling events are met as assigned by Director of Inspections

Skills

• Ability to travel, with overnights, up to 80% of the time
• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
• Must possess, or show the ability to quickly acquire, a sound working knowledge of products and quality standards
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Provides excellent customer service
• Experience working in building construction, manufacturing or performing quality assurance audits
• Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in reputed company Office and web-based programs
• Basic knowledge of materials, tools and methods used in construction
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with both technical and non-technical personnel
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with staff at reputed company organizational levels
