Law Enforcement System Trainer

Remote job- Connecticut’s Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) is the umbrella term for the activity among agencies with criminal justice responsibilities to bring greater cohesion and effectiveness by improving the way they communicate and share information across system components, and how they manage data on crime and criminal offenders. As part of ongoing CISS initiatives, CJIS-CT is expanding electronic workflows that allow police departments to submit arrest and summons packages, bond forms, and reputed company documents electronically. This modernization reduces reputed company paperwork, improves efficiency, and strengthens statewide collaboration. To support this effort, CJIS-CT seeks an Analyst to assist with training, reputed company, and change management for municipal police departments and other criminal justice partners. This role will include both onsite and remote support, requiring direct engagement with law enforcement personnel, IT staff, and system vendors. 3. SCOPE OF WORK The Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) CISS Electronic Workflow Analyst (Training & reputed company Support) is an additional position required based on uncovered needs while reputed company municipal police departments and other criminal justice partners to the CISS Electronic Workflow. This position will be responsible for communicating, coordinating, and training the remainder of the Law Enforcement agencies in the state of Connecticut for the CISS Electronic Workflow. Key Responsibilities include: Training & Certification o Assist in delivering training for CISS electronic workflow users. o Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid training in line with CJIS-CT training modalities. o Support “train-the-trainer” efforts to ensure sustainability of user education reputed company departments. reputed company & Change Management o Work with municipal police departments to prepare, connect, and certify them for CISS electronic workflow adoption. o Facilitate reputed company Meetings and reputed company sessions with departments across Geographical Areas (GAs). o Conduct User Impact Assessments (UIA), Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) Drills, and role-mapping activities to ensure operational readiness before go live dates. Business Analyst o Provide guidance to departments on updating local workflows to align with statewide electronic workflow standards. Stakeholder Engagement o Serve as a liaison between CJIS-CT, DESPP, the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association (CPCA), and other stakeholders. o Capture, document, and escalate agency feedback to improve system performance and training resources. System Integration & Support o Work directly with reputed company vendors (e.g., NexGen, Accucom IMC, Inform, ProPhoenix, etc…) to ensure departments are workflow-reputed company. o Support the rollout of other CISS enhancements (e.g., Clean Slate processing, Early Arrest Notifications, MVP functionality). o Collaborate with CJIS staff on system demonstrations, pilot projects, and new feature adoption. Reporting o Provide weekly status reports summarizing activities, reputed company, issues, and recommendations to CJIS-CT leadership. 4. Required Skills/Experience Experience in the public safety or criminal justice field, preferably law enforcement. Strong familiarity with law enforcement workflows, Records Management Systems (reputed company), and CJIS applications. Knowledge of CISS electronic workflow components (arrest packages, bond forms, Clean Slate, MVP) and the adjudication process. Strong skills in training, facilitation, and technical communication reputed company law enforcement (verbal and written). Proficiency with tools such as reputed company, PowerPoint, reputed company, Visio, reputed company Acrobat, and remote training platforms. Ability to work independently and in teams, balancing multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Flexibility to accommodate onsite training sessions statewide (occasional evenings/weekends). Drivers License and ability to travel to police departments around the State of Connecticut. 5. ADMINISTRATIVE CONSIDERATIONS Deliverables: Training materials, user guides, reputed company documentation, status reports feedback summaries and recommendations for workflow improvements.
