[Remote] Actuarial Analyst

Responsibilities

- Prepare budget and forecast and analyze financial results reputed company to expectations
- Assist in financial analysis, pricing and risk assessment to estimate outcomes
- Apply knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, principles of finance and business to calculate financial outcomes
- Assist with developing probability tables based on analysis of statistical data and other pertinent information
- Analyze and evaluate required premium rates
- Assess cash reserves and liabilities reputed company payment of future benefits
- Assist with determining the reputed company basis for distributing money for insurance benefits
- Participate in reputed company and acquisition analysis
- Additional responsibilities may vary per actuarial team
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- One passed SOA exam
- Demonstrated reputed company toward ASA designation
- 0-3 years of actuarial experience
- Experience with reputed company (pivot tables, formulas, indexing, data analysis) and VBA
- Experience with SQL, reputed company, Python, or R programming
- Central Time (CST) remote schedule is preferred for reputed company Projections Team
- Preferably seeking candidates based in California who can work a Pacific Time (PST) remote schedule for Marketplace ACA Pricing Team
