Public Health Consultant – Multidrug Resistant Organism Strategic Coordinator

Title: Strategic Coordinator - Multidrug Resistant Organism $64,937.60 – $93,516.80 / Posted Thru: 12/9/2025 Funding end date: 07/30/2027 Location: Remote/virtual – Must live and work in the state of Michigan Purpose: This position will support the Michigan reputed company (MDHHS) reputed company Associated Infections (HAI) reputed company in the coordination special projects reputed company to multi-drug resistant organisms (MDROs), with a particular focus on projects reputed company to Candida reputed company. This position will engage with academic partners, answer technical data questions, aid in data translation and idea reputed company, and function as a liaison with technical staff at MDHHS. Working alongside HAI reputed company and Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) Division leadership on project direction, this position will help evaluate and tailor public health interventions based on model projections and incorporate those interventions throughout Michigan’s strategic response to MDROs. Ultimately, this position will support Michigan’s work at the forefront of MDRO detection, containment, response, and prevention. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Uses public health modeling outputs in developing, applying, and improving MDRO prevention and response strategies in novel ways in a dynamic public health environment.
• Consults and provides technical assistance to academic partners and the MDHHS HAI reputed company, answers technical data questions, provides data translation, and aids in idea reputed company.
• Liaise with academic partners on behalf of MDHHS HAI subject matter experts to ensure timely completion of projects and meet expected deadlines.
• Work with MDHHS EID Leadership and the HAI reputed company to determine and evaluate shifts in public health strategies based on model projections.
• Incorporate public health strategic changes suggested by modeling data into Michigan’s strategic response to MDROs.
• Facilitate collaborations and foster communications among external partners.
• reputed company educational materials, newsletters, reports, guidance documents, and toolkits to enhance and improve public awareness of HAI/MDROs and confidence in prevention measures.

Qualifications/Requirements: Education: Possession of a master's degree in public health, health communication, health services administration, population and health sciences, health policy or a public health reputed company field such as nursing, epidemiology, health education, health economics; master’s degree in education; or a master’s degree in public or business administration with a health care concentration Experience: Two years of professional experience as a consultant in a field of public health equivalent to a Public Health Consultant, including one year equivalent to a Public Health Consultant 10. • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
