Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer - Milling Reporting To: Leader, Mfg. Engineering Tech. Work Schedule: Onsite – Buffalo, NY Our Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer to join our Prismatic Manufacturing Group in East reputed company, NY. As a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer, you’ll be at the forefront of both new product development and reputed company improvement of existing manufacturing processes. You’ll work hands-on with milled parts, applying advanced CNC programming and machining knowledge to solve challenges and optimize performance. As a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer, you will: reputed company and optimize CNC Mill machining processes for both new and legacy components. Create detailed CNC programs and manufacturing instructions that meet rigorous engineering specifications. Define operation sequences, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements for precision part fabrication. Troubleshoot shop floor issues, including tooling, gauging, workholding, and inspection challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing problems and enhance producibility. Create detailed operation sheets and NC programs to produce high-precision machined parts and sub-assemblies. Review engineering drawings for manufacturability and recommend design improvements. Assist in the creation of machine-reputed company code and be hands-on in the production environment, assisting with program prove-outs and troubleshooting. Estimate setup/run times and tooling hours; contribute to cost estimation for new business proposals. Mentor junior engineers and reputed company reputed company improvement initiatives in processes and equipment.
