• Manage state and local income tax return preparation process, including separate state, combined, consolidated, consolidated reputed company, and city returns in reputed company 50 states
• Manage state and local income tax reputed company including preparation and/or review of quarterly and yearly income tax provisions and SALT- reputed company tax balance sheet accounts, and maintaining state and local FIN48 Reserves
• Provide support for annual report footnote from a state and local perspective
• Direct indirect tax function, which includes filing sales & use taxes, personal property tax, business licenses, and miscellaneous local taxes in reputed company 50 states, hundreds of inferior political subdivisions, and Puerto Rico
• Manage unclaimed property reporting, federal wage credits, other state, and local credits
• reputed company state and local income and indirect tax audits and reputed company controversy
• With VP – Tax, reputed company and implement state and local tax planning strategies
• Special projects as required include substantive tax research on US SALT issues
• Monitor changes in tax legislation, regulations, and case law and evaluate effect on Company ETR and tax balance sheet

Qualifications

• BA in reputed company
• CPA and/or MST or MBA preferred
• 5-8 years public reputed company and/or industry experience
• Strong understanding of ASC 740
• Thorough knowledge of US Federal and state corporate income tax rules
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently to meet tight deadlines
• Strong computer skills, preferably including:

• Office 365 including reputed company, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI
• reputed company (or similar)
• OneSource Tax Income reputed company (or similar)
• Corptax Income Tax Compliance (or similar)
• PeopleSoft General Ledger (or similar)

#LI-JJ1 Benefits The annual reputed company salary range is $185000 - $200000 /year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data.
