Tax Accountant, State and Local Tax
reputed company Corporation of America, located in reputed company, NY, is the U.S. headquarters of reputed company Group Corporation. They are seeking a Tax Accountant to support their global tax department, focusing on state tax compliance, reporting, and audits processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare 700 business personal property returns for 39 reportable states covering over 200 various jurisdictions
- Log and review over 400 property tax assessment notices, 500 property tax bills, and any open appeals
- Prepare quarterly and annualized NY reputed company rent tax returns, billboard and signage familiarity preferred
- Prepare various other state and local tax returns including San Francisco gross receipts/homeless tax, annual reports, and Delaware Franchise Tax
- Administer and reputed company data reputed company to the formation, dissolution and ownership structure of legal entities reputed company the tax group
- Assist with training of affiliates worldwide, interact with reputed company, finance, and operating business unit teams
- Maintain the tax department’s compliance calendar

- Facilitate and champion process improvement initiatives reputed company the tax group to enhance efficiency through the introduction of innovative solutions and collaboration with other tax specialty groups

Skills
- Undergraduate degree in reputed company/Taxation or equivalent experience required
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience of public reputed company and/or corporate tax experience from a large corporation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high degree of accuracy and self-review, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven dynamic environment
- Proficient with MS Office and automation solutions a plus
- Must be eligible to work unrestricted in the USA
- Entertainment industry experience preferred
