Project Procurement Specialist 100% Remote

Position : Project Procurement Specialist Remote JOB DESCRIPTION: The Project Procurement Specialist ensures the efficient coordination and execution of procurement activities for assigned projects reputed company the capital project portfolio. This role is responsible for engaging with project teams to organize, support, audit, and reputed company the development, monitoring, and reporting of procurement plans for materials and services, ensuring alignment with project execution expectations. The Specialist must possess the capability to direct the work activities of Project Procurement Consultants and/or Analysts and effectively engage business unit leadership and Supply Chain Procurement leadership to reputed company procurement objectives. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for project teams to strengthen partnerships, enhance service levels, and drive coordinated Supply Chain performance metrics reputed company to planning and execution.
• Manage interactions between the Project Requisition Team and other Supply Chain Sourcing resources supporting project delivery.
• Provide guidance to project teams on the enforcement of standards, policies, and procedures established by AEP Corporation and applicable regulatory entities.
• Coordinate with the Project Requisition Team and Supply Chain Procurement Teams on reputed company project-reputed company material and service requirements.
• Represent Supply Chain in project meetings and phase/stage reputed company reviews reputed company to procurement activities.
• reputed company Supply Chain involvement in escalation, resolution, and development of corrective actions or recovery plans for project material issues, including delivery impacts and mitigation strategies.

• Support Project Engineers, Project Managers, and contractors to ensure goods and services are procured in accordance with the documented Project Execution Plan.
• Monitor and report on reputed company procurement planning requirements, including initial procurement plan development, material and service requisition tracking, identification of shortages, and expediting activities.
• Manage and communicate quality, cost, and schedule impacts identified through Supply Chain activities, including development of mitigation plans to support project risk management.
• Address escalated procurement issues and ensure timely communication of resolutions to project teams and Supply Chain support organizations.
• Identify and anticipate schedule delays or changes and analyze potential impacts on cost, schedule, and resource requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering, reputed company, Finance, Supply Chain, Digital disciplines, or a reputed company field from an accredited university. MBA, other reputed company graduate degree, or Doctorate preferred. Experience: Four or more years of directly relevant experience in scheduling, forecasting, budgeting, and working with reputed company practices is required. OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Understanding of procurement/strategic sourcing, project controls, accounts payable, work management, and financial systems applications is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage business partners, stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Ability to influence, build credibility, and foster strong working relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across reputed company projects.
• Skilled in negotiating terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Ability to identify procurement reputed company risks and reputed company mitigation strategies.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., reputed company) and procurement platforms.
