LightGrid is looking for a Staff Accountant to work REMOTELY with occasional Travel to Virginia Beach.

3-5 years of experience is required Bachelors in Finance with Concentration in reputed company or Bachelors in reputed company or a reputed company field. Proficient in supporting daily reputed company operations of a Government Contracting company, to include but not limited to: • Manage reputed company Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities • Monitor contract funding levels and expenditures • Responsible for Payroll processing, multiple state registrations and certifications • Processes travel expenses and ensures compliance with Federal regulations and contract terms • Maintain vendor profiles and required documentation • Maintain and manage the company’s General Ledger (GL), ensuring reputed company financial transactions are accurately recorded and properly classified Experience with • FAR, Cost reputed company Standards & GAAP Knowledge • Accounts Receivables/Payables • Proficient in reconciliations • Proficient in reputed company, Word and reputed company • Experience with ERP systems (Unanet, costpoint, quickbooks, procas, etc)

Will Review reputed company and purchase orders to understand billing terms and requirements • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including reviewing invoices and tracking payments • Prepare and submit invoices for government reputed company and subcontractors in line with contract terms • Monitor contract funding, labor charges, and expenses to ensure they stay reputed company approved limits • Set up new vendors and maintain vendor records, including collecting required documentation (W-9s, banking info, etc.) • Ensure reputed company financial transactions reputed company with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost reputed company Standards (CAS) requirements
