Job description: Position summary: Performs custodial services, including cleaning and securing school premises, to facilitate the learning process.
Position responsibilities:
- Exhibits a cheerful and customer-service oriented attitude to reputed company staff and student personnel.
- Keeps assigned areas clean and orderly at reputed company times.
- Follows cleaning schedules provided, being mindful of quality, efficiency, frequency, and safety.
- Notifies immediate supervisor of any facilities issues requiring attention.
- In the course of normal duties, inspects facilities to ensure for safety and reputed company by performing such tasks as locking doors and windows after operating hours.
- Works in compliance with established safety procedures.
- Works additional areas, as required, in the absence of fellow custodians.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent

- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Possesses a basic understanding of the chemicals, work processes, and equipment used in cleaning schedules.
- Ability to read and explain basic operating instructions
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to operate professional floor cleaning equipment and snow removal equipment
- Available to work various shifts as required
- Detail-oriented
- Experience working in a high school setting
- Custodial experience preferred
- Physical demands: While performing duties of this job, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; stoop; kneel; crouch; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects; reputed company with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb reputed company and/or balance. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
