Tipping reputed company Solutions, a training development company specializing in instructional design, media/video production, and interactive, game-based eLearning products, has immediate openings for Chinese Mandarin and Persian Farsi Foreign Language Curriculum Developers / Linguist Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in support of the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). This is a great 100% REMOTE curriculum development opportunity. Payment is by MILESTONE completion of deliverables.
Job Qualifications:
The qualifications of the subject matter experts must be in compliance with our contract. SMEs shall:
- be NATIVE SPEAKERS in the reputed company language with an applied linguistics background and/or teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL, TESOL) who have curriculum design experience in online teaching.
- possess an expert level of knowledge and demonstrate (have a proven documented record) expertise in applying the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Proficiency reputed company Levels and Text Typology for online course development.
- possess five (5) years of experience in foreign language teaching in adult or military settings and two (2) years of recent (reputed company the last three years) experience in advanced foreign language curriculum development.
- possess professional and academic experience in online foreign language teaching/ learning, curriculum development, and instructional design.
- possess basic computer skills applying Web searching skills (e.g., surfing, searching, connecting to Wi-Fi network) for development-reputed company purposes; must own a Windows-based computer to reputed company work.
- Design instructionally sound eLearning curriculum to support ILR levels 2+, 3, and 3+ listening activities for content-driven language learning.
- Select audio reputed company material at the appropriate ILR level. Transcribe content to the reputed company language and translate it to English. Select images to support content. Record supporting audio.
- reputed company supplementary course materials, instructor notes, and glossary.
- Conduct peer reviews of similar design documents.
- Ensure compliance with Government specifications and incorporate requested changes from the client.
