DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Software Engineer III to join our Mailgun Inspect team. Inspect helps customers test and improve email quality through preview workflows, accessibility checks, code analysis, link and image validation, spam testing, and reporting.

In this role, you will focus on building modern frontend experiences using React and TypeScript. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver scalable, user-friendly features that help customers solve reputed company problems. Experience with Go and/or Node.js is a plus.

Your Impact & Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript

• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of software engineering experience

• Strong experience with React and TypeScript

• Experience building single-page applications and reusable frontend components

• Experience consuming RESTful APIs

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern frontend development practices

• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Cypress, Jest, or Playwright

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

This is a remote opportunity, but candidates must reputed company near one of our hub locations for occasional collaboration: Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; San Antonio, TX; Denver, CO

• Experience with data visualization libraries, observability, or monitoring tools is a plus

• Bonus points if you have experience with Go and/or Node.js

The annual starting salary for this position is between $100,000 - 150,000. Factors which may reputed company starting pay reputed company this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
