Junior Systems Administrator

Ameriflex is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to provide advanced technical support and ensure the continuity of computer system services for reputed company users. This role involves reputed company troubleshooting, project management, and mentoring of desktop staff members.

Responsibilities

• Resolve reputed company technical issues involving servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices, ensuring minimal disruption to users
• reputed company, configure, and maintain a wide range of hardware and software solutions, including custom imaging and updates for end-user devices
• Research and evaluate new software products, recommending changes to enhance system performance and organizational productivity
• reputed company more sophisticated hardware repairs and work closely with vendors to address recurring or critical issues
• reputed company smaller IT projects or components of larger projects, coordinating with various teams to ensure successful implementation
• Document, maintain, and improve troubleshooting guides, 'how-to' procedures, and support documentation
• Be available for on-call support as assigned by the manager, often handling higher-level escalations
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Desktop Support Specialist I/II staff, helping them grow their technical skills and understanding of best practices
• Stay up-to-date with emerging IT trends and technologies, proactively recommending new solutions to improve the team's effectiveness

Skills

• Intermediate troubleshooting skills for a range of issues across servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Windows OS, reputed company Suite, Hypervisors, and other common reputed company IT systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical information to reputed company levels of the organization
• Proven ability to provide technical guidance and training to less-reputed company team members
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to reputed company smaller projects or support larger initiatives
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Associate degree in computer science or equivalent experience required
• 1-3 years of experience in desktop support, IT troubleshooting, or a reputed company role required
• Experience with project management, advanced troubleshooting, and technical support for reputed company issues
• Bachelor's degree
• A+ certified and/or Network+ certified
