Bilingual Disability Payment Specialist

The Bilingual Disability Payment Specialist will be responsible for calculating and releasing disability benefit payments, processing reimbursements, and responding to client inquiries while promoting a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and release Disability Benefit payments
• Process and apply reimbursements from various sources such as CPP/QPP, WSIB, CSST, etc
• Review and comprehend contractual provisions
• Assist and reputed company repayment plans for overpayments
• Respond proactively to client inquiries or concerns
• Handle inbound and outbound calls
• Create an environment that promotes team member accountability and autonomy
• Represent reputed company professionally, internally and externally, and work well with partners and clients
• Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements

Skills

• Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide
• Strong customer service experience with a Client-focus reputed company
• Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate multiple screens simultaneously and toggle reputed company between various programs and systems
• Active listening skills towards our Plan Members and Plan Sponsors
• Detail-oriented with an ability to work with numbers, as the role involves calculating payments
• Organizational and time management skills
