Oncology Clinical Support RN

Provide clinical support and guidance to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Offer personalized support and education to patients and their families throughout their cancer journey. Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish a trusting and compassionate relationship with patients. Demonstrate a high level of empathy and understanding towards the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients with cancer. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Monitor and assess patients' physical and emotional well-being, and provide appropriate interventions and referrals as needed. Educate patients and their families about cancer treatment options, side effects, and self-management techniques. Advocate for patients and assist them in navigating the healthcare system. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress. Stay updated on current advancements and research in the field of oncology to provide the best possible care to patients. Adhere to ethical and legal standards and follow established protocols and procedures. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in oncology nursing. Foster a positive and supportive work environment, working collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients and their families.
