The Role The organization is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help expand product features and the capability to scale. The engineering environment includes distributed back‑end systems responsible for critical business logic as well as bridging communications and data flows between embedded systems, machine learning, mobile applications, and business intelligence platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about designing, implementing, and supporting distributed systems and appreciates the impact they have on all aspects of the member experience. What You’ll Help Build Maintain and improve the integrity of a large‑scale data processing pipeline (5TB per day). Develop tools to guarantee the availability of services across approximately 30 microservices and automate their operation. Contribute to the development of back‑end services and new product features. What You’ll Need to Succeed Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years focused on backend engineering. Language Expertise: A polyglot background with advanced experience in at least two of the following: Java (Scala or Kotlin), C# or F# (.NET Core), Python, Node.js with TypeScript. Systems Knowledge: Proven experience with distributed systems. Cloud: Deep understanding of cloud services and infrastructure.
