Volunteers, Administrative​/Clerical

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

New Beginnings is seeking volunteers to come and join our team in our new office space, located at 530 E. Montecito Street, Suite 101, Santa Barbara, CA 93103. Volunteer Duties Can Include

  • administrative front desk assistance,
  • street outreach to people living in their vehicles,
  • lot monitoring,
  • credit repair and debt reduction assistance,
  • transporting clients to and from appointments,
  • aiding clients with ADLs,
  • job search and resume assistance,
  • helping with obtaining state and VA benefits,
  • administrative front desk assistance,
  • online housing searches,
  • other tasks as needed.

You will share in the New Beginnings organization, mission, and values to assist us in continuing to provide effective, person-centered, services within our community. Additionally, volunteers will be assisting in broadening our reach and connection in Santa Barbara County. Remote work unavailable.

Qualifications

A positive and respectful attitude, computer skills, enthusiasm, patience, organizational skills, and a non-judgmental approach to service provision.
