Remote Senior Full Stack Developer (React & Node.js)
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Remote Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in React and Node.js to join their distributed engineering team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge web applications, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is passionate about writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, remote-first environment. Responsibilities include architecting and implementing robust front-end solutions using React and its associated libraries, as well as developing scalable back-end services using Node.js, Express.js, and other relevant frameworks. You will be responsible for database design and management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), API development, and ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. This role requires active participation in code reviews, contributing to architectural discussions, and mentoring junior developers. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) is highly valued. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on full-stack development using React and Node.js. Demonstrable expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools. Strong proficiency in back-end development, including RESTful API design and implementation, and experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases. Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to work effectively in a remote team setting are essential.
