Account Executive (Early Career) – IT Staffing & Solutions

We’re partnering with a national IT staffing and solutions firm to add an early-career Account Executive to their Minneapolis team — a flagship market and one of the top-performing groups in the organization. This role is designed for someone looking to break into a true Account Executive path. You’ll work alongside experienced, high-performing sellers, gain exposure to active client accounts, and start owning opportunities early in your career. You won’t be starting from scratch — you’ll plug into existing relationships while building your own pipeline over time. What You’ll Be Doing Partner closely with a senior Account Executive to support and grow key client accounts Step into existing relationships and begin owning smaller opportunities Identify and expand into underpenetrated areas within active accounts Build pipeline through a mix of account expansion, warm introductions, and targeted outreach Learn how to navigate enterprise environments, including MSP/VMS models and longer sales cycles Collaborate with recruiting and delivery teams to drive successful placements and client outcomes What This Role Is (and Isn’t) This is a true entry point into an Account Executive career path — not a support or back-office role You’ll be client-facing early and gain real ownership of opportunities You’ll be trained and developed by experienced, high-performing sellers You’ll learn how to run a full sales cycle — not just generate leads What We’re Looking For 1–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role (IT staffing, professional services, SaaS, or similar environments preferred) Interest in building a career in B2B sales within IT staffing or professional services Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with clients Competitive, motivated, and eager to learn from experienced mentors Ability to operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Compensation
