The role involves advising enrolled and prospective students on academic programs and curriculum, managing degree plans and graduation applications, maintaining student records, and supporting retention efforts including probation and readmission processes. - Provide academic advising to enrolled and prospective students in Liberal Arts & Social Sciences.
- Analyze and process degree plans, graduation applications, grade changes, petitions, and readmission requests.
- Maintain and update student academic records throughout their academic careers.
- Support students on academic probation and financial aid reinstatements.
- Assist with orientation sessions for new and transfer students.
- Process Veteran's Administration paperwork and write graduation verification letters.
- May assist with student recruitment and deliver presentations at special events.
- Requires thorough understanding of an analytical, technical, or professional discipline, typically demonstrated by a related 4-year degree or equivalent specialized training.
- Minimum of one year of directly related job experience required; education may be considered in lieu of experience.
- Salary range is $38,100 to $42,850.
