Client Success Manager (Remote) - Performance Marketing Agency, Cash-Pay Healthcare
About this role You'll own a book of 40 warm clinic clients at a lean, profitable performance marketing agency. This is not a SaaS renewal seat and it's not a cold-outbound grind. You inherit active accounts, keep them, renew them, expand their service footprint, and turn results into referrals. You'll need to actually understand paid social and lead generation, because your clients live and die by cost per lead, and you're the one explaining it to them. Compensation
On-target earnings: $65,000 to $80,000 in year one, with top performers crossing $100,000 by year two. Base salary: $50,000. On top of that you earn renewal commissions on every 6 and 12-month contract, monthly profit share on your retained book, upsell commissions on add-ons, and referral bonuses on new accounts you bring in. The base covers the core work of managing and retaining your accounts. The variable rewards the renewals, expansions, and referrals that come from doing that work well. We're hiring two Account Managers to handle continued growth. What you'll own
- The full relationship with 40 active clinic accounts, from onboarding through long-term retention
- Weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly performance review calls with clinic owners (5 to 10 calls per day)
- Renewing 6 and 12-month contracts as accounts come up, keeping your book intact
- Translating ad performance into plain business outcomes a clinic owner understands (leads, cost per lead, booked patients), so they see the value they're paying for
- Spotting expansion and upsell opportunities across your book and bringing them to clients
- Generating referrals through a structured ask
- Partnering with media buyers to diagnose underperforming accounts and line up the right test strategy
- Catching at-risk accounts early and running save plays before they churn
Required qualifications
- 2+ years in a client-facing role inside a marketing, advertising, or lead generation agency. This is non-negotiable. If your client experience is in SaaS, insurance, retail, or another industry, this is not the right fit.
- Working knowledge of paid social or performance marketing. You understand cost per lead, ad creative, and the common reasons an account underperforms. You don't need to be a media buyer, but you can't be lost in the conversation.
- A track record of retaining clients and closing renewals, expansions, or upsells, with specific numbers you can speak to
- Ability to translate marketing performance data into business outcomes for a non-marketing audience (a clinic owner who cares about patients, not impressions)
- Strong written and verbal communication, and the self-direction to manage 40 relationships in parallel
- Available 9am to 5pm Central, Monday through Friday
Preferred qualifications
- Direct experience with Meta advertising specifically (not just paid social in general)
- Background working with healthcare, dental, med spa, or wellness clients
- Hands-on experience with GoHighLevel
- A history of growing a book through upsells and referrals, not just holding it steady
