Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Temporary Customer Service Representative to join our team on a temporary, full-time basis. As a key member of our Laboratory Billing Services Department, you'll be responsible for handling incoming calls, resolving issues related to member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment, as well as providing exceptional service to patients. Key Responsibilities:

* Handle incoming calls from patients and members, addressing issues related to: + Member eligibility + Plan prescription benefits + Claim payment + Patient services needs, such as updating billing information, establishing payment plans, resolving payment inquiries, or patient scheduling

• Provide quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education
• Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and escalate concerns to senior team members when necessary
• Maintain accurate records and data entry in our electronic medical records system (Epic EMR)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of patient issues
• Stay up-to-date on arenaflex policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Essential Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

• Two years of Customer Service experience, preferably in a hospital or physician's office setting, specifically in Laboratory services
• Experience registering patients preferred
• High Volume call center experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Data entry skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a medical insurance setting

• Knowledge of medical billing and coding principles
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (EMRs)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
