SEO & Content Marketing Manager

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

About Koppla Koppla is a digital marketing agency and technology company built specifically for mental health professionals — therapists, psychologists, and private practices. Through Koppla Marketing, we help practices grow ethically through SEO, content marketing, paid media, and web development. Through KopplaHQ, we build the tools and platforms that power that growth at scale. Our mission is to connect people who need mental health support with the professionals who can help them — by making those professionals visible, credible, and accessible online. The Role We're looking for an SEO & Content Marketing Manager to own our organic growth channels. You'll develop and execute SEO strategies, oversee content production, and drive traffic and lead growth for both our agency clients and the KopplaHQ platform. This role is for someone who understands how marketing works in a regulated, trust-sensitive space. You'll work directly with our leadership team and client strategists to build content programs that rank and speak clearly to therapists and people seeking care. As AI search and generative engines change how people find healthcare providers, you'll help shape how Koppla responds.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute SEO strategy across client websites and KopplaHQ, including technical SEO audits, on-page optimization, and link-building initiatives
  • Develop and manage a content calendar rooted in keyword research, competitive analysis, and therapist audience insights
  • Write, edit, and publish long-form blog posts, landing pages, practice profile copy, and email sequences using AI-assisted workflows where appropriate, or manage freelance writers doing so
  • Build and scale programmatic SEO pages for therapist directories and specialty-specific landing pages using structured content and templating systems
  • Coordinate content distribution across email and LinkedIn to maximize organic reach and engagement
  • Track, analyze, and report on organic performance using Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tooling.
  • Collaborate with web developers to ensure technical SEO best practices are embedded in site builds and updates
  • Stay current on algorithm changes, AI search trends, including GEO and generative engine optimization, and HIPAA-relevant content compliance requirements in the mental health space

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3–5 years of hands-on SEO and content marketing experience, including at least 1 year in an agency or client-facing environment
  • Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and growing traffic through content
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, empathetic, and authoritative copy for mental health audiences
  • Proficiency in Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or Semrush, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, or similar)
  • Self-directed, organized, and comfortable managing multiple client projects simultaneously

Nice to Have

  • Experience with programmatic or scaled content strategies
  • Familiarity with HIPAA considerations in digital marketing and healthcare content
  • Experience using AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.) in a content production workflow
  • Familiarity with schema markup, structured data, or JSON-LD implementation
  • Basic working knowledge of HTML/CSS for on-page SEO implementation

Compensation $72,000 – $88,000/year DOE

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay and benefits
  • Flexible time off and half-day Fridays year-round
  • Remote work options
  • A collaborative, mission-driven culture where your work makes a real difference
  • Growth opportunities across both the agency and KopplaHQ product
  • Direct exposure to mental health marketing — a meaningful, fast-growing niche
  • Leadership platform: influence strategy for organic growth across a specialized, underserved market
  • Opportunity to contribute to both client success and the broader KopplaHQ platform
