Core Systems Programmer

Currently we are searching for a Core Systems Programmer to fulfill an immediate vacancy. This individual will be responsible for:
- Hands-on leadership role with primary responsibility for overseeing the programming, maintenance, and continual enhancement of the core platform, Symitar.
- Maintains accountability for system configuration updates, integrations with third-party applications, and overall operational performance.
- Overseas core system change control activities by tracking, renewing, and validating changes to parameters, Power Ons, and system configurations.
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:
- 6+ years of hands-on PowerOn programming experience.
- 6+ years of hands-on Symitar programming experience.
Preferred Certifications and Experience:
- Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams.
- Management experience in a Financial or IT environment.
- Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with system integration, automation, and process improvement.
- Knowledge of compliance, security, and internal controls related to core banking systems.
- Advanced certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Jack Henry Symitar), preferred
- Experience with additional Jack Henry products/modules, preferred
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and automation platforms, preferred.
