The Senior Program Manager, Learning and Development, plays a pivotal role in shaping our workforce by designing and executing impactful training and development programs aligned with our logistics operations. This role partners with cross-functional leaders to build scalable learning solutions that support career growth, leadership development, and continuous improvement. Pay, benefits and more. What you’ll do on a typical day: Design and implement training curricula that align with 3PL operational goals and workforce development strategies. Collaborate with operations, HR, and site leadership to assess training needs and deliver targeted learning solutions. Lead high-visibility programs such as Site Leader Academy and Graduate/Intern initiatives to build leadership pipelines. Evaluate and recommend learning technologies, platforms, and vendors to enhance training delivery and engagement. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing based on business impact, strategic alignment, and stakeholder input. Track and report on key performance indicators, learning outcomes, and program effectiveness to drive continuous improvement. Facilitate workshops and learning sessions that support talent development, change management, and organizational capability. Champion process improvement initiatives that streamline training operations and eliminate inefficiencies. What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Organizational Psychology, Education, or a related field (or equivalent work/military experience; logistics experience may substitute for education) 3–5 years of experience in corporate training 2 years of experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) Project management experience Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time It’d be great if you also have: Experience with Cornerstone LMS or similar platforms Master’s degree in Instructional Design, IO Psychology, or Human Resources Professional certifications, such as: Associate or Certified Professional in Talent Development (ATD/CPTD) PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Experience in the transportation/freight operations or logistics industry Strong awareness of trends, techniques, and technologies in the training and development space Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
