This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States, Canada, California (USA) Michael Sullivan & Associates LLP is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant with workers' compensation experience to join our team in Fullerton. The Legal Assistant maintains a close professional relationship with attorneys and manages their day-to-day activities. JOB SUMMARY The Legal Assistant:
- provides administrative and clerical support to one or more attorneys and the Office Supervisor;
- prepares correspondence and simple to moderately complex legal documents;
- schedules medical appointments;
- proofreads documents for spelling and grammar;
- organizes and maintains files;
- screens telephone calls and visitors;
- reads and responds to mail. Skills & Experience Requirements:
- high school diploma or equivalent;
- ABA-approved paralegal certificate OR Bachelor's Degree;
- at least two years’ of workers' compensation experience;
- strong written and oral communication;
- highly organized;
- MS Word proficiency;
- type 50 wpm;
- demonstrable ability to maintain confidentiality.
