System & Network Administrator
Description Position Summary Maintains Avum's development environment networks, systems, and applications at the core level. Serves as on-premises system administrator for physical infrastructure and provides technical support for internal tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain development environment network devices and configurations
- Architect, configure, and troubleshoot systems and applications at the core level
- Serve as on-premises system administrator for physical infrastructure tasks
- Support internal tools and platform maintenance (Gitea, Redmine, etc.)
- Manage user accounts, access provisioning, and endpoint management
- Implement and maintain network security policies and monitoring
- Support migration projects and infrastructure upgrades
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $118,000 annually, with a target midpoint of $98,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and geographic location. - Security clearance: Active Secret clearance required or ability to obtain
- Must comply with all ITAR/EAR export control regulations

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or related field
- 3+ years of system or network administration experience
- Experience with Linux and Windows server administration
- Active Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
- Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and VPN configurations
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CCNA
- AWS or cloud administration experience
- Jamf or MDM platform experience
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
