As we continue to expand our fulfillment ecosystem, we are looking for visionary leaders who can shape the future of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Product – Fulfillment Services to lead the strategic vision and execution of our end‑to‑end shipping and delivery experience. Reporting directly to the VP of Product, you will own the product roadmap for the Customer Satisfaction Administration team, partnering closely with cross‑functional stakeholders—including Operations, Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Merchant Success—to drive high‑impact initiatives that improve delivery speed, cost efficiency, and reliability for both buyers and sellers on the arenaflex platform.

This role is ideal for a seasoned product leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, possesses deep expertise in e‑commerce fulfillment, and is passionate about turning complex logistical challenges into simple, delightful experiences. The position is based in Brooklyn, USA, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $26, a comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to shape a core pillar of arenaflex’s growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate a clear, long‑term product vision for fulfillment services that aligns with arenaflex’s overall mission and business objectives.
  • Roadmap Ownership: Build, prioritize, and maintain a data‑driven product roadmap that balances merchant needs, buyer expectations, and operational constraints.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership: Lead a multidisciplinary team of product managers, analysts, and designers while collaborating closely with Engineering, Operations, Merchant Success, and Marketing to ensure seamless execution.
  • Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and merchant feedback loops to uncover high‑value opportunities that drive cost savings, faster delivery times, and higher satisfaction scores.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Leverage quantitative metrics (e.g., Net Promoter Score, delivery success rate, cost per shipment) and qualitative insights (merchant interviews, buyer surveys) to inform product decisions and measure impact.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present product progress, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership on a regular cadence.
  • Team Development: Mentor and coach junior product managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and customer‑centric thinking.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards across all fulfillment touchpoints.
  • Innovation & Experimentation: Champion a test‑and‑learn mindset, encouraging rapid prototyping, A/B testing, and iterative improvements to the shipping experience.
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the buyer and merchant throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that every feature delivers tangible value and aligns with arenaflex’s commitment to trust and transparency.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years leading product teams focused on fulfillment, logistics, or e‑commerce operations.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, high‑impact products from concept to launch in a fast‑growth environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets, build predictive models, and translate insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities; comfortable presenting to C‑level executives and influencing cross‑functional partners.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with engineering and operations teams to ship reliable, scalable solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the e‑commerce ecosystem, including merchant onboarding, buyer expectations, and carrier relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and make decisive, data‑backed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a marketplace or platform business model, especially within the creative or handmade goods sector.
  • Background in supply chain optimization, transportation management, or last‑mile delivery innovations.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product discovery frameworks.
  • Hands‑on experience with analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Track record of mentoring diverse, high‑performing product teams and fostering inclusive cultures.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture while drilling down into tactical execution.
  • Customer Empathy: Deep commitment to understanding and solving real‑world problems for both merchants and buyers.
  • Collaboration: Strong partnership mindset, capable of aligning multiple stakeholders around shared goals.
  • Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in data analysis, hypothesis testing, and performance measurement.
  • Leadership Presence: Confidence to lead senior discussions, inspire teams, and drive consensus.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with rapid change, evolving priorities, and emerging market trends.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with modern tech stacks, APIs, and integration patterns used in fulfillment systems.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and compelling written and verbal communication skills.
