Position Summary

We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Customer Service Data Analyst to join arenaflex on a part-time, remote basis. In this role, you will serve as a central contributor to the development and maintenance of customer service reports within leading business intelligence platforms. You will analyze a wide range of datasets — including workforce management forecasting and scheduling metrics, vendor performance indicators, and customer experience measurements — to surface meaningful trends and deliver executive-level updates that inform strategic direction.

Beyond reporting, you will provide first-line support to our vendor partners, triage customer service data integrity issues in collaboration with engineering teams, and partner closely with internal customer support groups as well as external vendor partners to ensure the accurate and effective use of workforce management and operational data across the entire customer service function. Key Responsibilities

  • Dashboard Development & Maintenance: Take ownership of the creation, upkeep, and continuous improvement of global customer service dashboards and reports for both internal stakeholders and external vendor partners, deployed across various BI tools such as Tableau.
  • Data Visualization Collaboration: Partner with the Data Visualization team to migrate ad-hoc Tableau dashboards into arenaflex's custom data visualization platforms, ensuring continuity, scalability, and visual consistency.
  • Advanced Data Analysis: Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within customer service data, transforming raw information into actionable business intelligence.
  • Vendor Partner Support: Provide first-level analytical and reporting support to vendor partners, addressing their data consumption needs and ensuring they have the insights required to operate effectively.
  • Data Integrity Issue Resolution: Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to triage and resolve data integrity issues in a timely manner, safeguarding the reliability of all downstream reporting.
  • Education & Training: Teach and train end users on the most effective ways to utilize, interpret, and act upon reports and data, building organizational data literacy across teams.
  • Documentation Excellence: Create and maintain comprehensive, up-to-date documentation, including data dictionaries, report definitions, standard operating procedures, and analytical best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements, map business processes, define KPIs, and align analytical outputs with operational goals.
  • Executive Reporting: Prepare and deliver periodic executive-level reports that highlight status, insights, and emerging trends to help inform and guide critical business decisions.
  • Methodology & Process Improvement: Develop and implement consistent, scalable methodologies, tools, and processes related to dashboard maintenance, reporting governance, and analytical workflows.

Essential Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree (four-year college program) in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Information Technology, or another quantitatively rigorous field — or equivalent demonstrated work experience in a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence, preferably within a customer service, contact center, or related operational environment.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using leading data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or comparable platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing complex reports, dashboards, and visualizations that deliver actionable insights and drive measurable operational improvements.
  • Hands-on experience working with large datasets, including performing data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong project and program management capabilities, with proven skills in process improvement, stakeholder influencing, professional presentation, and internal consulting.
  • Excellent communication, partnership-building, and interpersonal skills — with the ability to translate complex analytical concepts into simple, accessible language for diverse audiences and drive results through influence.

Preferred Qualifications & Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience supporting vendor-managed operations or external partner ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with workforce management systems, contact center platforms, or customer support tooling.
  • Exposure to SQL, Python, or other programming languages commonly used in data analytics workflows.
  • Prior experience in the streaming, entertainment, media, or subscription-based service industries.
  • Comfort working in a fully remote, asynchronous, and globally distributed team environment.

Compensation & Benefits
