Position Overview

arenaflex is actively seeking a meticulous, dependable, and highly organized Remote Logistics Data Entry Analyst (Typist) to join our growing operations support team. This is a fully remote position designed for a professional who thrives in a structured, detail-oriented environment and takes pride in producing error-free work at a consistent pace. As a Logistics Data Entry Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining a wide range of logistics-related data into our enterprise systems, ensuring that our internal teams, partners, and clients always have access to reliable, up-to-date information.

The ideal candidate is a fast and accurate typist who is comfortable working with large volumes of data, has a strong grasp of logistics terminology, and possesses the discipline required to succeed in a remote work setting. You will collaborate with logistics coordinators, supply chain managers, and operations leadership to ensure that shipments, inventory records, vendor information, and tracking data are all captured with precision.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Logistics Data Entry Analyst at arenaflex, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Accurate Data Entry: Input high volumes of logistics data—including shipment details, inventory levels, tracking numbers, purchase orders, delivery confirmations, and vendor information—into arenaflex's proprietary systems and databases with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Record Maintenance: Regularly audit, update, and clean existing logistics records to ensure all information remains current, consistent, and free of duplicates or errors.
  • Document Verification: Cross-reference source documents such as bills of lading, invoices, shipping manifests, and carrier reports against entered data to confirm accuracy and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Reporting Support: Generate routine and ad-hoc reports on key logistics metrics, such as shipment turnaround times, data entry error rates, and inventory variances, to support operational decision-making.
  • Communication with Internal Teams: Liaise with logistics coordinators, warehouse staff, and customer service representatives to clarify data inconsistencies, gather missing information, and ensure smooth data flow across departments.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance: Handle sensitive operational and client information with the utmost discretion, adhering to arenaflex's data privacy and security policies at all times.
  • Process Improvement: Identify recurring data quality issues and proactively suggest improvements to workflows, templates, or system configurations that could reduce errors and increase efficiency.
  • Time Management: Manage your daily workload and prioritize tasks effectively to meet established turnaround times and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for the Remote Logistics Data Entry Analyst role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in human services, business administration, supply chain management, logistics, communications, or a related field is required. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Typing Proficiency: Demonstrated fast and accurate typing skills, with a minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute (WPM) and a high accuracy rate. A typing assessment may be required as part of the interview process.
  • Valid Driver's License: A current, valid driver's license is required for this position.
  • Remote Work Readiness: A reliable high-speed internet connection, a dedicated and quiet home workspace, and the self-discipline required to thrive in a remote environment.
  • Technical Literacy: Comfortable using computers, web-based applications, email platforms, spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets), and data entry software. Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or logistics management software is a strong plus.
  • Attention to Detail: An exceptional eye for detail, with the ability to spot inconsistencies, typos, and numerical errors before they become larger problems.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make your application stand out:

  • Prior experience in a logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or transportation environment.
  • Familiarity with logistics terminology such as Incoterms, freight classifications, bill of lading components, and carrier tracking systems.
  • Experience working with data entry or document management platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or similar enterprise tools.
  • Knowledge of basic data privacy regulations, including GDPR or CCPA, as they relate to operational data handling.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly valued at arenaflex.

  • Communication: Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with teammates, asking clarifying questions, and escalating issues when necessary.
