Our Claims Coordination Team is the backbone of the claims lifecycle. The Remote Customer Service & Data Entry Representative plays a critical role in ensuring that every claim is entered accurately, processed efficiently, and resolved to the satisfaction of our customers. By handling data entry, invoice verification, and report compilation, you directly contribute to the speed and quality of service that sets arenaflex apart from the competition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Management: Accurately input claims information into arenaflex’s proprietary claims management system, maintaining a high level of data integrity.
  • Information Follow‑Up: Proactively contact internal teams, vendors, and claimants to gather missing documentation or clarification needed to move claims forward.
  • Invoice Review: Examine invoices related to claim expenses, verify accuracy, and flag any discrepancies for further investigation.
  • Report Generation: Compile and format regular reports that summarize claim status, financial metrics, and operational trends for senior leadership.
  • Customer Communication: Provide courteous, timely responses to claimant inquiries via phone, email, or chat, ensuring a positive experience throughout the claims process.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct routine audits of entered data to detect and correct errors before they impact downstream processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Claims Coordination Team, underwriting, and finance departments to resolve complex claim scenarios.
  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest enhancements to data entry workflows, reporting templates, and communication scripts to increase efficiency.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
  • 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in a customer service, data entry, or administrative role.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and web‑based applications.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in data and documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a quiet, distraction‑free workspace.
  • U.S. work authorization (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, asylee, refugee, or eligible temporary resident). Applicants on non‑immigrant visas (F, J, H, L) are not eligible.
  • Willingness to undergo a background investigation and provide proof of work eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in insurance, claims processing, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with claims management software (e.g., Guidewire, ClaimCenter) or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Experience with data validation tools, macros, or basic scripting to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Customer‑service certifications (e.g., HDI, COPC) or typing certifications (e.g., Typing.com) are a plus.
