The position offers a starting wage of $21.34 per hour, equating to approximately $43,000.10 annually, with tremendous opportunity for performance-based salary progression. Many associates see a base salary increase of up to 10% within their first year, while top performers can experience increases as high as 15% — proof that arenaflex rewards dedication, skill development, and consistent excellence.

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Professional at arenaflex, you will serve as the first point of contact for our valued policyholders. Your primary mission will be to deliver personalized, attentive, and efficient service that reflects the high standards arenaflex is known for. The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering Incoming Calls: Handle a steady volume of inbound customer calls with professionalism, courtesy, and confidence. Each call is an opportunity to leave a positive impression and provide a solution that meets the customer’s needs.
  • Addressing Billing Inquiries: Assist customers in understanding their billing statements, processing payments, setting up payment plans, and resolving any account discrepancies with accuracy and care.
  • Making Policy Changes: Process updates to existing policies, including changes to coverage, addresses, vehicles, drivers, and other personal details, ensuring all information is entered correctly and efficiently.
  • Providing Tailored Recommendations: Offer informed suggestions on additional coverage options, discounts, and policy adjustments that may benefit each customer’s unique situation.
  • Resolving Customer Concerns: Identify the root cause of customer issues, empathize with their concerns, and deliver clear, actionable solutions that restore confidence and trust.
  • Documenting Interactions: Accurately record details of every customer interaction in our internal systems, ensuring that information is updated in real time for seamless service continuity.
  • Collaborating with Team Members: Work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments to ensure a smooth customer experience and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Staying Informed: Keep up to date on arenaflex products, services, systems, processes, and compliance requirements through ongoing training and self-directed learning.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum educational foundation is required. Additional education, such as a college degree, is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Outstanding Customer Service Experience: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service, build rapport, foster trust, and grow customer satisfaction in any professional setting — whether in retail, hospitality, sales, or another service-oriented role.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a clear and professional tone. You must be an active listener and an empathetic conversationalist.
  • Computer and Multi-Tasking Proficiency: Comfort using computers, navigating multiple applications simultaneously, and managing several tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new skills, absorb new information, and adjust quickly to changes in procedures, technology, and customer needs.
  • Receptiveness to Feedback: Open to coaching, performance reviews, and constructive feedback as tools for personal and professional development.

Preferred Competencies

  • Previous call center or phone-based customer service experience
  • Basic understanding of insurance products and terminology (training will be provided)
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Bilingual abilities are a strong plus
