We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Regions & Clusters team. This team owns the lifecycle of Qdrant Cloud clusters, including provisioning, scaling, upgrades, backups, authentication, and the customer-facing systems used to operate clusters across multiple cloud providers and regions. You will work closely with Product, Platform, Resilience, and other engineering teams to build features that directly impact our customers and improve the scalability and reliability of Qdrant Cloud. What you will own Build backend services and APIs that power Qdrant Cloud Develop features related to cluster provisioning, scaling, upgrades, backups, and authentication Collaborate with engineers across multiple teams to deliver customer-facing functionality Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design Investigate production issues and contribute to long-term improvements Continuously improve the reliability, scalability, and usability of our cloud platform Who you are 2+ years of professional software engineering experience Professional experience developing backend services and tooling using Go and/or Python Experience building and maintaining production software Solid working knowledge of Kubernetes in production environments Good understanding of APIs, networking fundamentals, and distributed systems concepts Experience working with cloud-native technologies and containers Strong ownership mindset and willingness to learn Good written and verbal communication skills in English Nice to have Experience building Kubernetes operators/controllers Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure Experience with databases or distributed systems Familiarity with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry Open source contributions We are looking for engineers with strong fundamentals and growth potential. You do not need to be an expert in Kubernetes or cloud infrastructure from day one, but you should be excited about learning how large-scale cloud platforms operate and evolve.
