[Remote] Applied AI Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Occupation Elevation is developing a custom AI agent that allows users to create applications without coding. They are seeking a product-minded full-stack engineer to ship TypeScript features and engage with customers to shape the product.
Responsibilities
- Ship full-stack TypeScript features end-to-end across two-week sprints, from idea to production, with real ownership
- Work hands-on with Anthropic's APIs and frontier models
- Talk to customers, triage real feedback, and use it to shape the product
- Optionally build your personal brand through content (YouTube, Instagram) — our team's content is a core growth channel, not an afterthought
Skills
- 1–4 years of professional full-stack experience — you've shipped production features in TypeScript; the entire codebase is TypeScript, and Python-only engineers will struggle here
- AI/LLM fluency or serious curiosity — you've worked with APIs like Anthropic or OpenAI, or you're actively building AI-powered side projects on your own time
- Product engineer, not researcher — you care about shipping things users love; ML-only or data science-only backgrounds are not a fit for this role
- CS degree, or exceptional new grad with strong demonstrated projects (popular GitHub repos, shipped side projects)
- Comfortable with ~50–60 hour weeks, Mon–Fri — this is not a 9-to-5, and we're transparent about that
- Startup or high-growth experience preferred — you know what it feels like to move fast with limited resources and still ship quality work
