Resident Services Coordinator - $500 Sign-On Bonus!

The Resident Services Coordinator assists the Community Manager in managing day-to-day operations of an apartment community, handling resident relations, and performing various administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the resident experience
  • Offer a professional, yet friendly, atmosphere in the leasing office
  • Maintain awareness of the property competitors and contribute ideas to the Property Manager to improve resident retention and satisfaction
  • Contact and follow up on renewals, new residents, and work orders
  • Answer and handle incoming issues from current residents always offering excellent service
  • Create a renewal program to optimize leas renewals and decrease resident turnover
  • Create ideas for marketing and events and assist in successful execution of these events
  • Plan fun activities for residents
  • Develop and execute strategies for optimizing online reputation and resident satisfaction surveys in accordance with goals set by Community Manager
  • Must be available for after hours for resident relations and other activities
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by manager

Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; or one year of related experience
  • Knowledge of property operations, marketing principles and practices
  • Knowledge of principals and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products of services; this includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, planning and organization, and coordinator of people and resources
  • Skilled with computer hardware and software including, Yardi 7s, Microsoft Office Suite, and industry specific software
  • Skilled with document design for resident communication pieces and flyers
  • Skilled in Social Media content creation
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
  • This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week
  • A flexible schedule is required and hours include weekdays, nights, and weekends (including Saturdays and Sundays) as needed to meet business needs
  • A valid driver's license is preferred; candidates without a license will be provided a liability waiver
