Financial Analyst - Pricing

The Financial Analyst - Pricing role focuses on providing technical support for financial analysis and contract administration, maintaining pricing data, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve pricing issues.
Responsibilities
- Maintains customer pricing data, tables, and formulas in JD Edwards to support accurate invoicing and contract execution
- Prepares and updates customer price sheets to reflect contractual pricing changes
- Retrieves and analyzes sales and pricing data from reporting systems to support monthly reporting and ad hoc analysis
- Initiates work flows for new customer set-up, including initial pricing in JD Edwards
- Owns monthly customer price reconciliations and supports resolution of pricing discrepancies
- Supports freight analysis and reconciliation activities
- Assists with revenue forecasting and budgeting processes by preparing data inputs and analysis
- Initiates workflows for customer setup and supports pricing-related system updates
- Partners with Commercial, Accounts Receivable, and other internal teams to resolve pricing issues in a timely manner
- Leverages Excel-based tools and process automation (e.g., formulas, templates, data validation) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in pricing and reconciliation activities
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements and supports implementation efforts
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- 0–3 years of relevant finance, accounting, or pricing experience preferred
- Understanding of basic accounting and finance principals
- Ability to perform data analysis and mathematical calculations related to pricing and contracts
- Strong attention to detail with ability to follow established processes
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of finance, accounting, and business principles
- Understanding of pricing processes and customer contracts is a plus
- Familiarity with Excel and reporting tools (e.g., JD Edwards, Essbase, Qlik) preferred
