[Remote] Maps Visual Design Relevance Evaluator - English (US)

The role involves rating the relevance and usefulness of suggested places based on personalized results and defined project guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs
- Assess user-focused elements like viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance
- Review personalized location recommendations to ensure relevance and helpfulness
- Follow strict project instructions and complete tasks accurately, including tagging specific issues (e.g., “Icons not properly masked,” “Labels too small”)
Skills
- To be located and have the right to work in the United States
- An existing, actively used Gmail account with prior usage history on Google Maps
- Participation is limited to maximum three project rounds
- Has an eye for artistic detail and intuitive design
- Thinks critically about spatial accuracy, relevance, and context
- Cares about delivering polished and helpful digital experiences
