Project Engineer
Milroy Construction is a general contractor based in Mountain View, California, focused on commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the Bay Area. The Project Engineer will support the successful delivery of projects by coordinating documentation, communication, and field operations to ensure projects are organized and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation in Procore
- Assist with project scheduling, procurement, permits, and coordination activities
- Support field teams by coordinating inspections, tracking progress, and resolving project issues
- Maintain accurate project records, including drawings, logs, and closeout documentation
- Assist with estimating, budgeting, and change management processes
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to support successful project delivery
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Build strong relationships across teams while upholding Milroy's values of integrity, innovation, and excellence
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 0–3 years of construction experience, including internships or co-op experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced construction environment
