As a Remote Customer Service Call Center Agent at arenaflex, you will facilitate transactions, promote diverse products and services, and play a vital role in creating positive customer engagements that strengthen the reputation of the brands we represent. No two days are exactly alike, and the variety of projects ensures you will continually build new skills while making a tangible difference in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle Inbound and Outbound Calls: Manage a steady flow of incoming customer calls while also placing outbound calls on behalf of client organizations, maintaining professionalism and warmth on every interaction.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking information, assistance, or support, always aiming to exceed expectations and resolve inquiries on the first call.
  • Facilitate Transactions: Accurately process orders, account updates, donations, and service requests, ensuring all information is captured correctly in our systems.
  • Promote Products and Services: Confidently communicate the value of client offerings, answer questions, and guide customers toward solutions that best meet their needs.
  • Maintain Brand Standards: Represent each client brand with integrity, following approved scripts, compliance guidelines, and conversation frameworks while still bringing your authentic personality to the call.
  • Document Interactions: Log call details, customer feedback, and outcomes in our CRM and call center platforms with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Meet Performance Goals: Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets related to call volume, quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance.
  • Stay Current on Training: Participate in ongoing coaching, refresher courses, and product knowledge updates to continuously improve performance.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Engage with peers, mentors, and supervisors through virtual team meetings, chat channels, and one-on-one coaching sessions.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

Basic Eligibility

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be a U.S. resident and legally authorized to work as an independent contractor in the United States.
  • Must not be a permanent resident of Pennsylvania, Washington, California, the District of Columbia, Oregon, Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, or Maryland.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and skill assessment prior to onboarding.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Hardware and Software Requirements

  • Windows PC or laptop only (Mac and Chromebooks are not supported).
  • Minimum 14-inch monitor or screen.
  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system only.
  • At least 8GB of total RAM (4GB usable minimum).
  • Intel or AMD processor.
  • Windows Defender antivirus and firewall must be enabled at all times.
  • A wired Ethernet connection directly to your router or modem is required (Wi-Fi is not permitted for work purposes).
  • Stable, high-speed, U.S.-based internet service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload speeds.
  • Mobile hotspots, satellite internet, and VPNs are not permitted.
  • Maximum roundtrip latency of 120ms.

Peripherals and Workspace Setup

  • USB wired headset (wireless headsets are not compatible with our systems).
  • External speakers or functional computer audio.
  • External wired mouse (trackpads are not sufficient for productivity).
  • Webcam (internal or external) for training, meetings, and verification.
  • Dual monitors strongly recommended for efficiency.
  • A dedicated, quiet, distraction-free home office space.

Telephone and Verification Requirements

  • Access to a working cell phone (preferred) or landline is required for PIN verification calls and mandatory multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Willingness to complete phone-based identity verification during onboarding and as needed thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, call center, retail, hospitality, or sales environments is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with remote work, virtual collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.), and cloud-based software.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued and may qualify you for additional projects.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms or ticketing systems is beneficial.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • Hourly Pay: $12.00 – $17.00 per hour, with opportunities for performance-based increases.

  • Bonus Potential: Earn additional income through performance bonuses, sign-on bonuses, and incentive programs.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Choose from 4-hour, 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
  • Full-Time and Part-Time Availability: Select the schedule that aligns with your life goals.
  • Weekend Opportunities: After completing training, you may opt to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Please note: This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Medical, dental, and vision benefits are not provided by arenaflex; however, contractors have the flexibility to choose their own benefits packages.
