Role Overview – Senior Data Analyst, Customer Experience (Remote)

The Senior Data Analyst will serve as a pivotal member of the CX analytics squad, responsible for championing the customer’s voice through data‑driven storytelling. You will partner with product managers, UX designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain a robust reporting framework that measures the impact of CX initiatives, tracks sentiment, and informs strategic investments across arenaflex.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Expertise & Domain Mastery: Become the unrivaled authority on the data domain for your assigned CX initiative—understand every source, relationship, and nuance.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Blend deep business knowledge with analytical rigor to deliver clear, evidence‑based recommendations that drive product and service improvements.
  • Continuous Discovery: Conduct ongoing data exploration to surface emerging trends, anomalies, and opportunities before they become headline issues.
  • Advanced SQL Development: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries that power real‑time dashboards and ad‑hoc reporting.
  • Dashboard Creation & Visualization: Design intuitive, interactive dashboards in Tableau (or comparable tools) that enable stakeholders to monitor CX metrics at a glance.
  • Data Platform Design: Contribute to the architecture of a next‑generation CX data platform, including data modeling, pipeline orchestration, and documentation.
  • Documentation & Enablement: Produce clear data dictionaries, query templates, and self‑service guides to empower business teams to connect to the new data source.
  • Ad‑hoc Analytics & Reporting: Respond swiftly to urgent analytical requests, delivering insights that support rapid decision‑making.
  • Reporting Standards & Governance: Establish and enforce best‑practice reporting standards, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and scalability across all CX reports.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with developers, UX designers, and end‑users to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Data Cleansing & Validation: Perform rigorous data quality checks, develop validation scripts, and oversee mass data load processes from multiple sources.
  • System Enhancements: Identify opportunities to improve existing data pipelines, reporting tools, and analytical processes, and lead implementation of enhancements.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in data analysis, with at least 4‑6 years in a senior‑level analytics role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven mastery of SQL, including complex joins, window functions, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Hands‑on experience building production‑grade dashboards in Tableau (or similar visualization platforms such as Power BI or Looker).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions, synthesize findings, and communicate them to non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong logical reasoning, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for data quality and integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing clear documentation and compelling presentations.
