Whether you are entering the workforce for the first time, returning to professional life, or seeking a role that combines analytical thinking with real-world business impact, this position offers a unique platform to grow your skills and shape your future.

Our culture is built on openness, direct communication, mutual respect, and empathy—qualities that empower our teams to deliver exceptional results while developing as professionals and as people. If you are ready to roll up your sleeves, dive into challenging projects, and work alongside some of the brightest minds in aviation technology, we want to hear from you.

About the Role: Innovation Investigator Assistant

This Assistant position offers the rare opportunity to rotate through multiple cross-functional teams within the Technology Office, gaining exposure to a variety of business areas. As an Innovation Investigator Assistant, you will be embedded in teams that span Air Operations, Customer and Business, Systems and Services, People, and Finance. This rotational structure is intentionally designed to give you a holistic view of how a major organization operates, while allowing you to contribute meaningfully to ongoing projects from day one.

Your primary responsibilities will include supporting data entry operations, assisting in quality management processes, conducting requirements analysis, and working closely with business users to design effective technical solutions. You will serve as a vital bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, helping to translate business needs into actionable, well-tested solutions that align with organizational goals and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Records Management: Accurately input, update, and maintain critical business data across multiple platforms, ensuring information integrity, completeness, and timeliness. Your work will directly support operational decision-making across the organization.
  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business clients to gather, document, and analyze requirements related to systems and business processes. Translate these requirements into clear, actionable specifications that development and testing teams can execute against.
  • Quality Assurance Support: Work with Quality Management Office (QMO) team members—including Scrum Masters, Engineers, and Product Owners—to test applications as changes are being developed. Participate in systems and acceptance testing to validate that solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
  • Project Coordination: Manage timelines for planning, development, testing, and execution phases to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Track progress, flag risks, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a reliable resource to facilitate effective communication between business users and technology teams. Ensure alignment of expectations, clarify technical concepts for non-technical audiences, and document key decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance data accuracy. Contribute ideas for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of technology-enabled business processes.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Support the development and presentation of metrics that showcase testing progress, application quality, and project health. Help ensure leadership remains informed about how initiatives are tracking against goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with colleagues across Air Operations, Customer Experience, System Services, People, and Finance teams. Adapt to varying scopes of work depending on team assignment and business priorities.

Team Placement Areas: Where You Might Work

Group Platform Quality Management Office (QMO)

While the Quality Management Office operates within the Technology space, its primary focus is on the application side. This team is responsible for ensuring the quality of the applications that frontline teams—including Inflight Crew Members and Pilots—rely on every day to perform their jobs. Without rigorous quality assurance, application defects could disrupt operations, leading to downstream impacts on flight schedules, customer experiences, and safety. As a member of the QMO team, you will help test applications that form part of the "must-fly" suite of tools, work closely with cross-functional delivery teams, and contribute to metrics that demonstrate progress and inform leadership decision-making.
