You will lead a high‑performing, 24×7 global team that blends data‑entry expertise with advanced analytics, machine learning, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Build, mentor, and retain a diverse team of analysts, data engineers, and product partners across multiple time zones, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify, prioritize, and remediate high‑impact abuse vectors, translating raw data into actionable policies and product enhancements.
  • Data‑Driven Insights: Oversee the design and delivery of dashboards, transparency reports, and executive briefings that communicate abuse trends and mitigation outcomes to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Policy, and Global Business Operations to embed abuse‑prevention signals into core platform features and workflows.
  • Rapid Incident Response: Lead on‑call rotations and coordinate swift responses to critical abuse incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to users and brand reputation.
  • Innovation & Tooling: Champion the development of scalable data pipelines, ML models, and automation tools that enhance detection accuracy and reduce manual effort.
  • Regulatory & Transparency Reporting: Produce clear, compliant reports for governments and regulators, showcasing arenaflex’s commitment to user safety and accountability.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience leading risk‑mitigation or abuse‑prevention initiatives at scale.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing data‑driven solutions for large‑scale content platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data sets into clear, strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of influencing senior executives and cross‑functional partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekend on‑call duties, to support a global 24×7 operation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Machine Learning, or Computational Social Science.
  • Experience with large‑scale data analysis, anomaly detection, and statistical modeling (SQL, R, Python, or MATLAB).
  • Background in adversarial research, content moderation, or online safety, preferably within a major tech or media organization.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing online platforms (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, COPPA).
  • Hands‑on experience building or evaluating ML models for abuse detection, including feature engineering and model monitoring.
  • Demonstrated leadership in building high‑performing, remote‑first teams.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to dissect massive data sets, spot patterns, and derive actionable insights.
  • Strategic Thinking: Vision to anticipate emerging threats and proactively design defenses.
  • Collaboration: Strong partnership skills to work effectively with product, engineering, policy, and legal teams.
  • Communication: Clear, concise storytelling for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Leadership: Inspiring, coaching, and developing talent in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
