We are a forward-thinking technology company committed to designing integrated, multidisciplinary experiences that bring together hardware, software, and applications into seamless, unified ecosystems. Our Core Platform Operations organization is the backbone of this vision, ensuring that the systems powering our most celebrated products remain cohesive, intelligent, and built to inspire millions of users around the globe.

We are not just another technology company. We are a community of bold problem solvers, passionate collaborators, and curious thinkers who refuse to accept the status quo. If you are a big-picture troublesolver who thrives on ambitious goals, loves uncovering patterns in complex data, and gets excited about turning raw numbers into actionable strategy, arenaflex is the place where your talents will not only be valued but amplified. Our teams operate at the intersection of engineering excellence, operational efficiency, and human-centered design, and we are looking for a Remote Workflow Systems Analyst who will help us shape the future of how software is built, measured, and continuously improved.

The Opportunity: Remote Workflow Systems Analyst & Dashboard Developer

The Platform Services and Operations group within Core OS at arenaflex is searching for a talented, driven, and analytically sharp Workflow Systems Analyst to design, build, and evolve mission-critical workflow tooling at scale. This is not a typical data entry position. This is a high-impact role where you will partner directly with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Product Leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to enable teams to deliver exceptional software through best-in-class engineering experiences, streamlined workflows, data-driven insights, and a culture of relentless continuous improvement.

As a Remote Workflow Systems Analyst at arenaflex, your focus will be on delivering meaningful, actionable information and insights while educating and empowering partners across the organization to embrace workflow initiatives. You will serve as the analytical engine behind the scenes, ensuring that every decision is backed by data, every dashboard tells a story, and every insight translates into measurable wins for the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dashboard Development and Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated Tableau dashboards that visualize key engineering metrics, track progress toward goals, and surface critical trends for stakeholders at every level of the organization.
  • Analytical Partnership with Data Teams: Act as a dedicated insights and visualization specialist for a mature team of Data Scientists and Engineers, collaborating on hypothesis generation, experimental design, and the interpretation of results.
  • Iterative Dashboard Design: Lead the iterative design process for all dashboards, presenting prototypes to partner teams, gathering thoughtful feedback, refining the experience, and delivering polished end products that exceed expectations.
  • Workflow Profiling and Documentation: Characterize the current state of complex engineering workflows by profiling intricate systems, documenting architectural patterns, identifying bottlenecks, and targeting specific areas for measurable improvement.
  • Pattern Recognition and Insight Generation: Dive into large, complex datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and emerging trends that can inform strategic decisions, optimize processes, and unlock new opportunities for the organization.
  • Change Agent and Strategic Influence: Work directly with partner teams to drive action based on data, translating insights into tangible wins and serving as a catalyst for meaningful organizational change.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Leadership teams to ensure analytical work is aligned with broader business goals, technical roadmaps, and operational priorities.
  • Metrics Strategy and KPI Development: Develop, refine, and maintain key performance indicators and metrics frameworks that measure engineering productivity, software delivery performance, and operational excellence.
  • Data Quality and Validation: Perform rigorous data inspection and validation, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of all analytical outputs that influence critical business decisions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of three years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or in a comparable analytical role within a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Analytics Expertise: Solid working knowledge of analytics principles, including visualization, statistical analysis, and the Analytics Maturity Curve (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, and Prescriptive analytics).
  • Insight Generation Skills: Demonstrated ability to translate research and analysis into actionable insight, including the development of key metrics, recommendation of policy changes, and delivery of comprehensive action plans to all levels of leadership.
  • Advanced Tableau Proficiency: Expert-level skills as a Tableau developer, with a portfolio of sophisticated, interactive dashboards and data visualizations.
  • SQL Mastery: Capable SQL user with strong experience in aggregation, nested queries, data inspection, and data validation techniques.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor of Science degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills and Experiences

  • Software Development Analytics: Familiarity with software development metrics and analytics frameworks, including CI/CD pipeline performance, DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate, Time to Restore Service), and LEAN software delivery principles.
  • Software Development Knowledge: Hands-on experience with software development processes, including an understanding of build pipelines, code merging strategies, testing systems and methodologies, and the broader code delivery lifecycle.
  • Product Ownership Mindset: Demonstrated experience as a product owner who is fully accountable for key results on projects, with a proven track record of driving efforts to completion and generating concrete outcomes through analytics.
  • Project Management Acumen: Strong project management skills with experience planning, coordinating, and driving efforts across multiple associate teams toward unified strategic goals.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Continuous Learning Orientation: A genuine passion for learning, growth, and staying current with emerging trends in data analytics, engineering productivity, and platform operations.
