As the very first point of contact for most new members, you play a critical role in shaping their perception of the program. Your warmth, professionalism, and ability to connect authentically over the phone will determine whether someone takes that crucial first step toward better health. You will educate, inspire, and sign up candidates for appointment packages that connect them directly with credentialed nutrition professionals.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will balance high-volume outreach with genuine human connection. Your day will involve:

  • High-Volume Outbound Calling: Making 70–75+ outbound calls per day to eligible candidates, introducing them to tele-nutrition services and the value of meeting with a Registered Dietitian.
  • Authentic Engagement: Following a structured call script while sounding natural, conversational, and genuinely enthusiastic — never robotic or rehearsed.
  • Package Enrollment: Setting up appointment packages tailored to each candidate's needs and securing their commitment to begin working with a Registered Dietitian.
  • Objection Handling: Addressing questions, hesitations, and concerns about tele-nutrition with empathy, accuracy, and confidence, escalating complex issues to your team leader when appropriate.
  • CRM Documentation: Accurately logging call outcomes, member notes, and follow-up actions in internal systems (experience with Zendesk or Athena Health is a plus).
  • Pipeline Management: Balancing multiple priorities throughout the day while maintaining energy, positivity, and focus.
  • Member Advocacy: Serving as a knowledgeable, friendly ambassador for the program, the dietitians, and the broader mission of preventive healthcare.

What You Bring – Essential Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you must be a self-starter who is comfortable working independently from home and passionate about connecting with people. Specifically, we are looking for candidates who have:

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience working in a remote customer service, outbound sales, or outbound support position.
  • Proven experience in a high-volume outbound calling environment with the stamina and mindset to make 75+ calls per day without experiencing burnout.
  • Professional experience using a MacBook or iMac (Apple laptop or desktop) in a prior work environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills — both written and verbal — with a natural ability to build rapport quickly with individuals from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving remote setting.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and independence, with the discipline to thrive in a work-from-home environment.
  • Full bilingual fluency in English and Spanish — both written and spoken.
  • Access to a reliable personal computer or laptop running Windows 11 or macOS 12.7.4 (or higher) that you can use for this position.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications

While not required, candidates with the following experience will stand out:

  • Prior experience using Zendesk or Athena Health platforms.
  • Proficiency with the Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, etc.).
  • Previous work experience in the healthcare, wellness, or fitness industry, or a strong personal passion for nutrition, preventive health, and lifestyle improvement.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

Your starting pay will be $17.00 per hour, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule that supports healthy work-life balance. Benefits for this role begin on the 31st day of employment and include:
