[Remote] Senior Director Program Management

They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Manager to lead program development and delivery initiatives across their Mission Critical Data Center portfolio. The role involves bridging high-level program strategy with execution, developing a standardized program delivery manual, and managing a high-performing program execution team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with SLS pre-development team to develop a standardized, repeatable program delivery manual that codifies how SLS runs programs end-to-end
  • Develop the staffing plan and program organizational structure required to scale program delivery across the portfolio
  • Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing program execution team
  • Oversee GC negotiations, buyout, and assist with the development of program-level budgets and schedules
  • Proactively oversee and maintain the program risk log and integrated program schedules
  • Review recurring GC reporting (health, budget, and schedule) to ensure strict alignment with the program 'Plan of Record.'
  • Develop broad teams with multiple individual functions for optimizing team performance in the day-to-day as well as plan the teams' growth trajectory
  • Company contractual obligations associated with program delivery, organizational structure, P&L and associated risks

Skills

  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated success delivering multi-regional, program-level data center portfolios
  • Proven experience in program development, team building, and program management
  • Strong negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to clearly articulate program risks, progress, and decisions
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess transaction details, identify risks, and make informed decisions
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
  • Thorough understanding of business processes and strategy development
  • Background in commercial real estate development management
